Welcome to the new home of Indonesia Kendo Forums. The Yahoo Groups page has been serving our needs quite well but with the number of posts increasing and not everyone having a Yahoo email address in order to fully participate in the groups page, I have decided to create a forum for easier use. The Yahoo Groups page will remain active for a little while, but I think you will find this more useful.
Posts are now better organised into separate categories for our members' easy viewing and replies will be viewable in the correct location.
Now a few rules:
1. No flaming of other members. There is a Flames board on this forum but it is not intended to be used to flame, embarrass, insult, demean, or do anything not considered civil behaviour towards any member registered in this forum. You may however, freely flame McDojos, silly things you saw on youtube, etc.
2. Please keep your comments related SOLELY to kendo, regardless on which board you are posting
3. Remember (and it's posted below every page) that frequent abusers will be banned - and dealt with at the dojo.
4. Think about your question before posting. This makes giving an answer to your inquiry easier.
5. As the board gets bigger, older posts may not be visible. Before asking questions, SEARCH. An answer may already exist.
6. DO NOT USE information on this site as a guideline for your kendo practice. The information on this forum is simply opinions posted by your fellow kendoka, it should not be considered proper instruction. Seek counsel with your sensei or sempai whenever you are not sure of something.
7. Use whatever language you like for posting. Just make sure others can understand what you are talking about.
8. Enjoy the service. Sharing opinions and open discussion of kendo is encouraged for all members. Sometimes some issues are not so easy to discuss with sensei and another member may have similar issues and has a solution.
9. Finally, POST IN THE CORRECT BOARD
The main purpose of this forum is to build a community amongst members and their respective clubs. If we can achieve better relationships through kendo, then we can build a stronger foundation for kendo in Indonesia.
